Boat show weekend. The kids have found the one pontoon on the floor with stairs to a second deck and a slide hanging off the back, and they’re not leaving it. If you’re now looking for a pontoon boat with slide, to buy new, to find used, or just to rent for a Saturday on the lake, this page covers which builders actually offer one, what to check before you sign, what it costs where a price is published, and how a factory slide compares with adding an inflatable slide to the pontoon you already have.

A tritoon pontoon boat with a factory fiberglass slide from its upper sun deck at anchor

In short: a pontoon with a slide is almost always a double-decker: a raised upper deck with a fiberglass slide that runs down to the water, built in at the factory. Bennington (Top Deck), Crest (Upper Sun Deck), Godfrey (AquaPatio Sundeck) and Avalon (Funship) all list this layout, and many lake marinas rent double-deckers with slides. If you’d rather keep your single-deck pontoon, an inflatable pontoon slide straps on for about $320 to $605 and is rated for one rider up to 200 lb.

What a factory pontoon slide is

On a pontoon, the slide needs height to be fun, and a pontoon’s main deck sits low on the water. So builders add a second level: an upper deck over part of the boat, reached by a ladder or stairs, with the slide starting from that deck. The ride is longer and faster than anything you can strap to a single-deck pontoon, which is why kids beeline for these boats at shows.

The slides themselves are rigid. Bennington describes its Top Deck slide as a fiberglass waterslide with adjustable water pressure. Godfrey’s AquaPatio Sundeck has a slide with its own water pump. A pump matters: a dry fiberglass slide is slow and grabs skin, so the builders run water down it. On the Bennington L25 Quad Bench Top Deck, Boating magazine reported that the slide is fed by the shared washdown pump.

The upper deck is the structural part. Boating magazine’s review of that Bennington noted the upper structure is through-bolted to the boat’s crossmembers and wider at the base for stability, with a non-skid deck that drains water through a perimeter channel. That’s the work a factory does that you can’t easily copy later, and it’s why a review site sums up fixed pontoon slides as needing “an upper deck and professional installation.” We found aftermarket upper-deck kits for pontoons, but no stand-alone rigid slide kit sold to bolt onto one. For a fixed slide, plan on the factory route. For the bigger picture, see double-decker pontoons with slides.

Pontoon and tritoon models with a slide: what we confirmed

We only list builders and models we could confirm on the builder’s own site, a dealer or rental listing, or a published review. Several builders’ sites block automated reading, so a few lines rest on the builder’s page as shown in search results; the sources file for this page says which. Model years change, so treat this as a shortlist to take to a dealer, not a spec sheet.

Two things stand out. First, the slide usually comes with a specific double-deck model, not as a box you tick on any pontoon. Crest lists it as standard on the Upper Sun Deck; Bennington ties it to the Top Deck layout. Second, none of the builder pages we could read published a rider weight limit for the slide itself or a minimum water depth. Bennington’s review gives a limit for the upper deck (four people or 585 lb on the L25), which is a different number. Ask the dealer for both in writing.

Tritoon with slide

A tritoon has a third tube down the middle, which carries more weight and bigger engines. That’s a natural fit for a second deck, and it shows: Crest builds its Upper Sun Deck on a tritoon chassis with 26-inch tubes as standard, and many rental listings for double-deckers with slides call them tritoons. If you’re shopping for a tritoon with a slide, ask the dealer whether the third tube is standard on that model or an upgrade, and what it does to the capacity plate.

Pontoon with slide for sale: buying new

New, these boats go through the builder’s dealers. The published prices we found, when checked in October 2026, were Crest’s Upper Sun Deck “starting at $104,076” on its 2026 page and Godfrey’s 2025 AquaPatio Sundeck 275 SDC “starting at $124,030” in a Power Boating review. Boating magazine’s 2022 Bennington L25 Quad Bench Top Deck test boat was $122,961 with a Mercury 250. Engines, tubes and options move these numbers a lot, so get a written quote. Questions to bring:

  1. Is the slide standard or an option on this model? Get it on the build sheet either way.
  2. What is the rider limit for the slide, and what water depth does the builder require? If it isn’t published, ask the dealer to get it from the builder in writing.
  3. What is the upper deck rated for? People and pounds, from the capacity plate or the builder.
  4. How is the slide wetted? Its own pump or a shared washdown pump, and where the switch is.
  5. How high is the upper-deck rail? Stand up there with the people who’ll use it. Boating magazine called the L25’s rail “about knee height.”
  6. What does the warranty say about the upper deck and slide? Ask whether they’re covered like the rest of the boat, and for how long.
  7. Will it fit your life? Measure your garage, boathouse, lift and any low bridges before you order. A second deck adds permanent height.

Buying a used pontoon with a slide

Used double-deckers with slides do turn up on boat listing sites and dealer brokerage pages, mostly Avalon Funships, Bennington Top Decks and Premier upper-deck models. We didn’t quote used prices here: the listings we tried to check were blocked or out of date, and age, hours and engine swing the price too much for one number to help. What we can give you is what to look at. Take this list along, and have a marine service shop check anything you’re not sure of.

  • The build sheet or original window sticker. It confirms the slide and upper deck came from the factory and not a later project.
  • Upper-deck mounts. Look underneath where the structure meets the boat: fasteners tight and present, no cracks in welds or brackets, no fresh holes or sealant patches.
  • Deck and rails. The upper deck shouldn’t flex or creak underfoot. Rails and gates should be solid, not wobbly.
  • The ladder or stairs. Treads intact and non-slip; handholds firm.
  • The slide. Fiberglass without deep cracks or chips along the riding surface, mounts secure at top and bottom, and the water feed working when you test it.
  • Capacity plate. Present and readable, with the builder’s limits for the boat and, if listed, the upper deck.
  • Warranty. Ask whether any builder warranty transfers to a second owner.

Renting a pontoon boat with a slide

Renting is the easy way to find out whether your family loves it before spending six figures. Lake marinas and peer-to-peer rental sites list double-deckers with slides; a few real examples, when checked in October 2026:

  • Lynn Creek Marina, Joe Pool Lake, Grand Prairie, Texas: a 2019 Aloha 26 Double Decker with a water slide for up to 14 people. The renter drives (no captain), must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license, and life jackets are included. No rate was shown on the listings we read.
  • Lake Don Pedro Marina, La Grange, California: an Aloha 30 Double Decker “equipped with a water slide” for up to 16, rented by the hour. No rate was shown for this boat.
  • Lake Havasu City, Arizona: a Premier 250 Sunsation Upper Deck tritoon with a slide for up to 12, rented with a captain at $175 an hour on weekends and holidays, gas extra (GetMyBoat listing).

Before you book, ask whether the slide is in working order that day, whether the marina has rules for its use, whether a boater education card is needed in that state, and who brings the life jackets. Private listings change often, so call the operator rather than trusting an old page.

The add-on route: an inflatable slide on any pontoon

Most families with pontoons get their slide this way. It costs a fraction of a new boat, works on a single-deck pontoon, and comes off in minutes when you want the deck back. The trade-off is height: inflatable pontoon slides stand about 4.5 to 6 ft tall with 8 to 9 ft riding surfaces, and every maker we checked limits riders to 200 lb. See choosing a slide for your pontoon boat and pontoon slide weight limits.

The RAVE and the Spillway were in stock on Amazon when we checked in October 2026, at about $320 and about $605. The Spillway needs a pump with a Halkey Roberts adapter, like the Airhead 12V pump below (about $72).

Factory slide or inflatable: which suits you?

  • Buying a new boat anyway and want the big ride: look at a double-decker with a factory slide, and check the upper deck’s capacity and rail height.
  • Happy with your current pontoon: an inflatable slide is the practical add-on.
  • Riders over 200 lb: the inflatable pontoon slides we list won’t suit them. A factory slide’s limit comes from the builder, so ask.
  • Tight storage or a low boathouse: an inflatable rolls up; an upper deck adds height for good.
  • Not sure yet: rent a double-decker with a slide for a day first.

Safety on a pontoon with a slide

The fun part is short; the rules make it last all summer.

  • Water depth. Anchor in water deep enough for the slide and check it on the depth finder, not by eye. RAVE asks for at least 5 ft for its inflatable pontoon slide; a review site reports 8 ft for a taller pontoon slide. Factory upper-deck slides start higher, and the builders we read didn’t publish a depth, so ask yours. See water depth and clearance.
  • Engine off, keys out. The USCG advises never to sit or hang on the back deck or swim platform while engines are running, and its 2024 statistics count 169 incidents of people struck by propellers, with 30 deaths.
  • One rider at a time, feet first, with the landing zone clear before the next person goes. A spotter who only watches the water helps.
  • Life jackets. Federal rules require a wearable, USCG-approved life jacket for each person aboard, and children under 13 must wear one while the boat is underway unless a state rule applies instead. Many families have kids wear them on the slide too. See kids on boats and the full safety section.
  • Upper deck limits. Keep to the people and pounds on the plate, and keep small children off the upper deck unless an adult is right there.

No slide maker we checked publishes a wind limit or a minimum age, so we won’t invent one. Calm water and close supervision are your best guides. If you’re unsure whether a slide suits your boat at all, start with will a slide fit my boat?

Pontoon boat with slide questions

Which pontoon boats come with a slide?

The ones we confirmed are double-deck models: Bennington’s Top Deck layout, Crest’s Upper Sun Deck (slide listed as standard), Godfrey’s AquaPatio Sundeck and Avalon’s Funship models. Premier built the Escalante with an upper-deck slide, and Premier and Aloha upper-deck boats with slides are common in rental fleets.

How much is a pontoon boat with a slide?

New, the published starting prices we found in October 2026 were $104,076 for Crest’s Upper Sun Deck and $124,030 for Godfrey’s 2025 AquaPatio Sundeck 275 SDC. Adding an inflatable slide to a pontoon you own runs about $320 to $605 on Amazon.

Can I add a fiberglass slide to my pontoon later?

We found no stand-alone aftermarket rigid slide kit for pontoons. Fixed slides need an upper deck built into the boat’s structure, which is why they come from the factory. An inflatable pontoon slide is the add-on option.

Where can I rent a pontoon boat with a slide?

Lake marinas and rental sites list them; examples include Lynn Creek Marina on Joe Pool Lake in Texas and Lake Don Pedro Marina in California. Search your lake’s marinas for “double decker with slide” and call to confirm the slide is working.

How many people can be on the upper deck?

Whatever the builder rates it for. On the Bennington L25 Quad Bench Top Deck, Boating magazine reports four people or 585 lb. Power Boating listed four of the 24 people on Premier’s Escalante for the upper deck.

Can adults use an inflatable pontoon slide?

Yes, within the maker’s 200 lb rider limit, one at a time, in water at least as deep as the maker asks.
